The archetypical stock I chose that was listed in the impudent York stock exchange was Barnes and baronial. I chose this stock because I enjoy reading books in my spare time, and the atmosphere the store provides in general. In the archetypal two weeks, the stock stayed at about the same price. therefore it began to steadily nosedive beginning October 9th until the 30th. From there it steadily went up until it closed at about 1 dollar more than than what it started as, closing at roughly 4 percentage more than when I started logging. Between the two stocks I picked, Barnes and Noble, Nike, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Barnes and Noble fluctuated the most, as we can see from the first graph comparison the three items of interest. It’s hard to say exactly why this stock nosedived during that time and then went down, but it may be because of several factors. One main factor may be because of online sellers of books who sell books at cheaper prices.



It’s harder for Barnes and Noble to compete, because only 9 percent of Barnes and Nobles net sales are from its online retailer, whereas 89 percent of their net sales come from in store purchases. heighten this is the fact that Amazon has now introduced the Kindle which is a digital book reader. This may have scared buyers as the pass season approached and the Kindle received a large core of publicity.
The second stock I chose was Nike, as listed in the New York Stock Exchange. Nike is the largest seller of athletic footwear and apparel widely distributed by sales. I chose this stock because I have constantly since I can remember had an affinity for their products, and felt them to bereliable and similarly fashionable.
