Honeywell International was founded in 1885 by Albert Butz.The company was started business in Electric alter Regulator (E HR) and expanded its product line.In 1912 E HR had expanded its product line and changed its name to Minneapolis Heat Regulator Company (MHR).In 1927 Minnepolis Heat Regulator company and Honeywell warmth Speciality to merged to form the Minneapolis Honeywell Regualator and became the largest producer of high fiber jeweled clocks .The company made several scholarship with companies like Brown Instrument Co. in the field of understand area.In 1934 the company acquired Time O Stat corresponds and began a long archives of global expansion.The first office outside the US was effected in Toronto,Canada.Its first European subsidiary was established in the Netherlands the same grade,and within in a few year officers were opened in London and Stockholom.By 1941 it had distributors in Chile,Panama,Trinidad ,NewZealand ,Argentina and South Africa.By 1972 ,it operated 25 wholly owned subsidiaries ,142 branch offices,and joint ventures in quintette countries outside the US.In 1983 company purchased Bendix Corp an aerospace and automation company .By 1984 Bendix generated 50 % of companies income .This was given more focus to aerospace industry.In 1985 assort merged with the request Companies,adding critical mass to its aerospace ,automation and engineered material businesses.



In 1993 the company opened affilication in Abu Dhabi,China,Oman ,Romania and the Ukraine.By 1998 ,Honey well had operations in 95 countries through 83 wholly owned subsidiaries and 13 joint ventures.In 1999 Honeywell merged with Allied Signal and maintained the name as Honeywell because of its superior rat recognition .
