I decided to do my career research interview with a retail company called judge By Marciano. Guess by Marciano is the first brand addition from GUESS. It is an upscale fashion brand owned and operated by GUESS. It got its name from GUESS CEO Paul Marciano. The Marciano brothers are the founders of Guess. They grew up in the South of France. Designing Guess by Marciano, they collective the European style with the American style c considerhing to let on their designs a real unique look. Guess by Marciano is well(p)-known for its glamorous society dresses, jeans, skirts, handbags and top of the line accessories ranging from watches, bracelets and necklaces. This store caught my attention because it sells high-fashion c contendhes that are very stylish and trendy. I have always been interested in retail and what it entails.
Going behind the scenes and interviewing a manager at one of the biggest retail companies gave me the opportunity to enrich my knowledge what physical process are undergone on a day-to-day basis as a manager of such a company. It taught me that they is a lot of decision makings, team work, thought processes that is done in align for things to appear the way they do.
I interviewed a manager at Guess by Marciano in Waikiki by the name Ursula Tuzon. She was a very nice young lady who showed a lot of enthusiasm for her job. She was very likeable, friendly, most of all very energetic. later on the interview, I even got a chance to watch her move with her staff as well as guests that where walking deep down the store. Ursula made eye contact with every single customer that walked into the store and smiled and greeted them into the store.
