Robert Gabriel Mugabe was born on February 21st, 1924 in Southern Rhodesia. He was raised as a Roman Catholic with a Malawian father and a Shona mother, and studied in missionary schools. Mugabe qualified as a teacher, but left to study at South Africa`s Fort Hare University where he received the first of his seven degrees. He was married to his second wife Grace Marufu in 1996. Grace is 41 old age and they have three children.
