Abstract
This paper is being written in parade to discuss three major themes that could be taken outside from the book, Discipleship Counseling, by Dr. Neil T. Anderson.,. The three major themes were: Counseling in delivery boy, Who is amenable for what, and Overcoming Pride. Discipleship Counseling is a book with a complete maneuver to helping others walk in freedom and grow in Christ. Anderson discuss the spiritual battle for the mind and how it is written in 1Timothy 4:1 (NIV): The Spirit clearly says that in subsequent times some will abandon the faith and view deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Anderson began his book by discussing the scope and limits of scriptural integration and define mental health from a Christian perspective. (Anderson, pg 15). Anderson concludes this book by discussing the practical aspects of counseling in Christ and explains each Step in The Steps to Freedom in Christ.
Counseling in Christ is based on the password of God and learning how to be trustworthy to others. Anderson discussed that counseling requires acquaintance of Gods Word and true characteristics of God.
Anderson refers to discipleship counselor as the encourager. The encourager is encouraged to build a connection with God and the holy Spirit in order to perform all the duties of go a discipleship counselor. Integrating Christ is the most important pick for the encourager and the counsel as well as becoming wish God in our character is also the core expiration of discipleship counseling for both the counsel and the encourager, said Anderson. We must render ourselves to become this kind of individual. Becoming the right kind of person will help us to elevate judgment.
