Blankman
I selected to paint my outline of a booster’s journey on the movie Blankman which is directed by Mike Binder. It didn’t really receive excellent feedback from the stroke office when it was released but it has a very comical learning ability on a hero’s adventure. This movie is truly a satirical superhero parody but it still bonds to the fix up of hero’s journey. This film stars actor Damon Wayans as Darryl Walker, an extremely nerdy citizen of Chicago who likes to collect junk to turn them into various thingmajigs. I will point out how this junk collection/gadget inventions will work out to his advantage ulterior on.
Months later Blankman would be soon facing a great challenge. The immorality man has a hit out for Blankman and his love interest. Also, his buddy Darryl soon finds out that this same ugliness man was trusty for the murder of their grandmother so he could “sway” the “mayoral election” (Anon. “Blankman Movie Reviews” par. 1). Darryl informs Blankman of this and he was at first indisposed(p) to leave his fast food job in instal to face the world of heroic dangers, but Blankman cannot escape the position that this is the same man that took away his grandmother and agrees to take the evil man out.
This is the part of the quest that he enters “into the abyss” (Harris, “The gunslinger’s Journey” par. 18). Blankman is going into a very unsteady situation in a blind manner in order to save his girl, avenge the death of their grandmother and mayor, beat the cuffs on this villain personally.
We as human beings, without supernatural powers, normally go through this when something definitive in our lives happen. It is most belike something negative that has a very deep impact on us and makes us change for the better.
