DEBATE SPEECH Introduction: Good morning adjudicator, audience, fellow team-mates and debate debaters. My name is Todd Ryan of Mortlake College; Im the second speaker for the invalidating side and Im going to try to change over you that not all publicity is nifty enough publicity. Opening: speculate that our Prime Minister, John Howard, was found guilty for possession of an black-market narcotic. Obviously there would be massive publicity coverage. Hes reputation would be destroyed, he would loose the publics pull he may even loose his job. Surely this scenario is create that not any publicity is good publicity. Re-assert and Rebut cases: My team-mates and I strongly believe not all publicity is good publicity. Anything that damages your reputation is not good publicity. I would handle to see how my opposing debaters can justify the example of forged publicity that I gave previously. Also how peoples lives that have been negatively bear on by publicity is good for them. Rebuts: Arguments: For my argument I would wish well to use a current bad publicity example.
